The weekend wedding package for us was just perfect, allowing our family to be with us throughout. The property is absolutely stunning and lovingly cared for by Barb and Dave. The accommodation was "top notch". Loved the glamping experience as the wedding couple. Barb and Dave were wonderful hosts. Highly recommend to all wanting a eco nature getaway or wedding.
Couldn't ask for a more beautiful venue for our wedding ceremony. The peace and tranquility of Warblers Retreat makes you feel so at ease, away for the hustle and bustle. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and nature. Barb and Dave are the most loveliest, genuine people and to have Barb be our celebrant was such an honour. Warblers wouldn't be Warblers without them. Our day was perfect. Would recommend without a second thought. Thank you Barb and Dave at Warblers for making our day so special and perfect xx
We had our eco wedding at Warblers Retreat in December and it was exceptional from start to finish. Barb is a phenomenal celebrant who dealt with our whole ceremony at short notice. She is kind, inclusive, funny and warm and made the ceremony beautiful for us. The package included everything we needed for the day with beautiful flowers, decorations and a lovely cake. Barb and Dave are excellent hosts and I couldn't rate them high enough.
What an Amazing Wedding Day We Had At The Wonderful Warblers Retreat!!We would like to thank you again for all of your help from the day we enquired about booking our wedding, until the moment it was time for bed on our day. Nothing was ever too much for ask for, and questions were always answered super fast. We couldn’t have asked for a better day, or a better venue. Warblers Retreat was the first venue that we viewed, and we left with such excitement knowing that it was the venue that we wanted to get married at; It really did exceed all exceptions of how the venue looked on the day, and how the day came together. Barb And Dave Are The Perfect Hosts And really Make The Day Special For you. The Accommodation Is Beautiful and Has lots of Lovely homely touches all over it. Beautiful Homemade Bread on arrival and free Range eggs for breakfast. Amazing Open fire To Wind Down The Night Was Great Followed By the Ever Romantic Outdoor Bath which was Magical Under the Night stars.
The Next Day we Even Got To Plant Our Own Special Tree At our Love sight With My Special Rock 😉. Thank You Barb And Dave Again and We Cant Wait To Return And Spend More Time at This Wonderful Location. We Would Highly recommend This venue For your Special Day.
We had our wedding at Warblers and could not have imagined anything better than Warblers. Everything was perfect and just absolutely beautiful. Thank you Barb and Dave for all your hospitality and all the work that went into our special day. Glamping in the caravan was truly an experience to remember! We will definitely be back again soon!
Me and my husband has the best wedding at Warblers Retreat. The venue is stunning and the hosts Barb and Dave made the stay so personable and wonderful. Everything was perfect. Would recommend for a wedding or a weekend stay with loved ones.
I got married and we had our wedding night at Warbles Retreat. the place is amazing, we could not find a best option. Barb and Dave are so receptive, kind and nice, they looked after of all details for us. the accommodation was cozy, clean, romantic. the food was delicious. Plus, we had massage and reike with very nice and full skilled professionals. We can see clearly how this place is treated with love in order, to give an wonderful experience to the guests. Attended a wedding here yesterday, you wouldn't think you were in Auckland, location was very private, surrounded by beautiful native Bush. The hosts were wonderful humble people and made this a really great day. Would highly recommend this venue.

Amazing property for how close it is to Auckland! We got married there and stayed in the lodge with some family members from around NZ and the states. Everyone was absolutely blown away at the spaces at Warblers. It's unbelievably quiet and peaceful and even the air feels fresher. You can take a private outdoor bath by a stream or take a walk through some native bush. We highly highly recommend Warblers as a getaway or a wedding venue!
Warblers Retreat was the perfect place to hold a wedding. We felt completely relaxed from the moment we first met Barb, throughout the planning, and on the day. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful with lovely natural spots for photos.
Look forward to visiting again and I would highly recommend.

In light of the Lockdown restrictions in place we needed to cancel our original wedding venue and come up with plan B three weeks leading to our wedding date. We did our research online and came across Warblers Retreat. We were impressed with the web images of the picture perfect Canopy surrounded by nature. We made contact with the lovely Barb from Warblers Retreat who to our relief confirmed Warblers Retreat was available on our planned wedding date. Barb confirmed a date for us to view the venue prior to confirming the booking. Barb was very approachable and friendly during the viewing and made us both feel relaxed with our wedding planning. The Canopy in person looked quite stylish with the décor and features, Barb is also a Celebrant and we were very happy to have her as our wedding celebrant. Leading up to our wedding day, Barb's communication via email correspondence was fast and efficient. The process of planning and organizing a wedding can be quite hard with uncertainty about the restrictions in place, but with Barb's assistance we got through it in the end and had our wedding go ahead. Owners Barb and Dave at Warblers Retreat are both lovely and keep the venue in excellent condition and this is evident in the beautiful well maintained landscape. Barb made a beautiful flower bouquet for me on the day and buttonholes as well. Luckily it was a bright sunny day on our wedding day. We made most of our day taking photos with a lot of different backdrops around Warblers Retreat. We would highly recommend Warblers Retreat to anyone wanting a small beautiful intimate wedding. Absolutely loved the venue and the fact that it is eco-friendly. Big thanks to Barb and Dave!

Had our wedding here during level 3 lockdown. Barb was a fantastic celebrant and host. We just kept in touch through emails and Barb always kept us updated throughout the different changes as a result of the restrictions. On the day of our wedding, Barb and Dave added some special touches to the place to make it more personal and our guests couldn't help but gush about how beautiful the place was. We hope to be able to stay here in the future.
I just wanted to take the opportunity to say a huge thank you for making our wedding day amazing! The whole experience with the lead up and of course on the day was just phenomenal and we are so happy that we found your amazing venue. Your customer service and flexibility made everything so easy in a time where things are difficult and that means a lot to us.

We had a bubble wedding and although we couldn't have everything we wanted that day I have to say it exceeded every expectation. we were allowed a couple extra hours for us to set up and get ready. it was the most magical and beautiful experience we have ever had in our lives the most amazing and memorable day we will ever have. The location was a enchanting and the sounds of nature were mind blowing the tui in the background of our wedding video were just the icing on the cake. We would love to thank barb and her husband for being the most kind herted hosts the aroha we felt from you two has totally restored our faith I humanity The warblers retreat is a diamond in the rough I wish we could get married more than once. I was looking forward to having our honeymoon there but covid is unpredictable and we understand why we couldn't. WE WERE ABSOLUTELY OVERWHELMED AND WE WILL DEFINITELY GET OUR HONEYMOON THERE... Everything was so easy, the venue was set up beautifully. We were able to show up have our ceremony and leave at the end to enjoy the rest of our day. The hosts were so accommodating and went out of the way to make our day and the lead up extra special. Not only is the venue beautiful but you can see the love and effort put into it to make it special. Right down to the little touches like the projector and projector screen so we could have our family with us via zoom despite the restrictions of Covid. Thank you and can't wait to come back for future anniversaries in one of your amazing accommodation options.
Nothing short of paradise! We got married here yesterday and it was absolutely magical, Barb and Dave were amazing hosts and made it feel effortless. We then had an amazing night away in the Cottage, had a night bath down by the waterfall. Felt like I was a million miles away. Thank you so much Barb and Dave, we are so grateful for these memories.

Our stunning Wedding in Natures paradise
We cannot thank Barb & Dave enough for creating such a magical space for us to celebrate our wedding day.
Right from the moment we set foot within Warblers we knew it would be perfect, and it certainly did not disappoint. Our guests were stunned by the location and we had no idea such beauty was right there on our doorstep!
All the amenities we needed were provided for our dream wedding, small and intimate but plenty of space and privacy- not to mention stunning scenery and atmosphere.
The canopy was set up beautifully to host our reception, and the picturesque location made for an amazing outdoor ceremony and a stunning background for our wedding photos .
As expected our day went off without a hitch, surrounded by natures beauty. We were blessed to have a few special visitors in the form of a pair of doves (and one cheeky cat) who gatecrashed our ceremony and made for memorable light-hearted moments on the day and what I like to think a good omen for our married life.
We also spent our wedding night in the glamping caravan, followed by a soak in our private outdoor bath with supplied candles and robes amongst the birdsong and lush greenery. The small personal touches like homemade bread, a handwritten note and flowers really made the whole experience extra special and unforgettable.
Barb & Dave were wonderful hosts and very accommodating to our requirements, we are so appreciative for their correspondence and assistance throughout.
Warblers is an absolute hidden gem and forever will hold a special place in our hearts, we will definitely return and fondly reminisce for years to come. We can absolutely recommend Warblers as a must for an intimate wedding, or just a cosy night away to relax and reconnect.
