Looking down on waterfall

The New Zealand native bush is captivating in places, especially near the water. As you follow the track down through the bush, you follow one of two spring fed creeks, showing clearly how beautiful some of our NZ bush is.  The New Zealand Silver Fern or Ponga, (Cyathea dealbata), the Black Fern or Mamaku (cyathea medullaris) and the New Zealand Nikau,  (Rhopalostylis sapida) are prominent features along the creek, along with a wide variety of ferns.

A tranquil waterfall that flows along this creek provides a place of great peacefulness and solitude.  Glo Worms may be seen as you walk down the bush track or along the waterfall on a dark night.

As guests, staying at Warblers Retreat, we welcome you to enjoy the experience of our wonderful New Zealand native bush and the beauty of the gardens created within it.

The natural bush landscape is proudly cared for and maintained by Sustainable Landscapes.
